FOREIGN AND INTERNATIONAL PATIENT GUIDE

> English > FOREIGN AND INTERNATIONAL PATIENT GUIDE

Daniel Hospital is committed to making your stay with us as
comfortable as possible, in terms of both physical and
emotional well-being. Having to be admitted to a hospital is
distressing enough as it is.
We know that this must be even more so, as a foreigner in
an unfamiliar land.

Daniel General Hospital has four floors that are designated
for in-patient nursing.
One of these state of the art nursing units is especially
designated to the care of foreign and international patients.

In order to provide you with a positive healthcare experience while abroad, Daniel General Hospital has
on staff a number of physicians and surgeons who have been trained in the United States and are board
certified in their respective specialties. Upon admission, one of these doctors, along with an
English-speaking liaison from our Patient Relations Department will be assigned specifically to you for
the duration of your care and treatment.

A one-on-one relation between doctors and their patients throughout their stay with us is an important
part of Daniel Hospital's commitment to quality healthcare.

There is also a nutritionist on staff who works with doctors in planning meals of a variety of cuisines
for you during your stay with us if they are preferred over traditional Korean dishes.

Transportation Services

DGH operates ambulances for transportation of patients. In cases of non-emergency, arrangements
can also be made for pick up to and from the hospital by calling 011-417-8355.

Before Admission

WHAT TO BRING
When you arrive at DGH, you will be greeted by a Patient Liaison and an Admissions and Registration
counselor. To help the admission process proceed as quickly and smoothly possible, please bring:
